Build Up welcome CIAT

The Build Up team recently welcomed the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) to our panel of industry support.

Representing over 9,500 professionals working and studying in the field of Architectural Technology, CIAT is internationally recognised as the qualifying body for Chartered Architectural Technologists (MCIAT) and Architectural Technicians (TCIAT).

Acting Communications Director of CIAT, Adam Endacott recognises the potential of CIAT’s partnership with Build Up to help create new opportunities, working together to assist career re-alignment for much of their membership.

“One of CIAT’s main focuses is to promote the science and practice of Architectural Technology into the wider construction industry and built environment - an industry supported strongly by the University of Westminster’s Build Up programme. Our members work alongside architects, engineers, surveyors and other professionals within the construction industry, so many of whom have been affected by the recession. It’s this cross-disciplinary focus that we share with Build Up which makes our partnership so important.”
