Recent workshop- Starting Your Own Business
Build Up presented 'Starting Your Own Business' on Wednesday, 31st March at the University of Westminster, an interactive one-day workshop designed for built environment professionals who are considering or in the process of starting up their own business.
The popular session offered participants an overview of the key aspects of business start-up, as well as tips and advice from built environment professionals who have started their own business. It presented the opportunity for participants to reflect on entrepreneurial skills whilst exploring aspects of:
-Networking and peer support amongst like-minded professionals
-Personal goal setting and action planning
-Relevant professional resources
